I’m heading to Lahontan State Recreation Area as this year’s featured artist for the Cosmos in the Desert 2026 stargazing event celebrating the night sky! Nevada has incredible access for stargazing, thanks to its vast and wild public lands. Join for two nights of camping, learning about the night sky, advocating to protect Nevada’s wilderness, and of course live painting of a work-in-progress featuring a night sky scene.
