Description
Alaska summers are filled with the iconic, bright pink flower that is named for its quick takeover of recently disturbed areas (ie, by fire). The conical flowers bloom magenta in the summer, and fade to a brilliant red marking the beginning of fall. I painted this as a summer extender; this view (and many like it) is one of my favorites.
12"x9" acrylic on canvas with painted canvas edges for a 3D effect. Ready to hang.
