Saguaro Study 1

Description

I paint to focus my attention and yours on seemingly everyday moments we might not otherwise see. No matter how many times I look, it feels like there’s nothing everyday about the otherworldly sentinels defiantly pushing toward the sky across the Sonoran Desert: Saguaro Cacti, of course. But what can be easy to miss are the striking colors and life across this landscape. I painted this piece to hopefully unlock – in me and you – the ability to notice, just a little more readily.
