Description
Rain in the desert is fleeting and intense. Just after, the colors of sandstone – often somewhat muted by midday sun – come brilliantly and glowingly alive. Wet stone and plant life shine brightly as the sun lifts back into the sky, in the cool air. It’s an amazing moment that’s over quickly, which is why I chose to preserve it with this painting.
